Coveted Charriol Time

Charriol watches offer a distinctive blend of French ingenuity and premium Swiss-made craftsmanship. The brand was founded in 1983 by French entrepreneur Philippe Charriol, who sought out to create precision Swiss-made timepieces assembled in Geneva, incorporating both modern and ancient artistic designs.

Charriol wanted his wristwatches to do more than just tell time. He wanted each timepiece to be a fine piece of jewelry as well. This was conveyed in one of the brand’s early collections, the Celtic Hearts watch series, which featured a twisted cable design inspired by early Iron-Age Celtic metal work.

Crafted from stainless steel and titanium the twisted CHARRIOL-C44BM173004cable has been used by Charriol as an accent on watch bezels, cases and bracelets and even as stylish watch straps in many of his prestigious timepiece collections. The design is globally trademarked and the hallmark of the Charriol brand.

With the international success of his watch collections, Charriol added fine jewelry, writing instruments and leather good accessories to the assortment. The signature twisted cable design is featured on many of the items in the various Charriol collections.

You’ll find many of today’s most sought-after Charriol watches for men and women at luxury retailer The Watchery, including popular styles from the Alexandre, Ael, Celtica, Colvmbvs and St. Tropez collections.

Invicta watches have captivated the world for over 20 years, since the company’s re-launch in the late 1990’s. The brand is highly sought after today, mainly for its dynamic and innovative good looks…not to mention strapping size and stature.

While the Invicta watch brand has been around since 1837, when founder Raphael Picard set-up shop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the brand had modest success from its origins to the 1900’s. However, Invicta did not make it into global radar until the 1990’s, when it was purchased by a United States investment group headed by its current President Eyal Lalo.

The introduction of the brand’s Lupah wristwatch in 2000 catapulted Invicta to worldwide prominence. Extraordinary Zeno Time

Zeno is a noteworthy Swiss watch brand highly regarded for their vigorous high-performance timepieces made for pilots, divers and other professionals. While the brand has been employed by the Swiss army for use by both pilots and frogmen, its origin in 1868 is closely tied to fine pocket watches for men and graceful pendant timepieces for women.

The company’s founder Jules Godat was a small pocket watch manufacturer in the late 1800’s, who built a small watch empire and later opened a factory. Another watch company Eideldinger & Fils, who specialized in watches for the military, took over the factory after Godat’s death in the 1920’s.ZENO-6569-5030Q-A1

Inspired by the Greek philosopher Zeno, Andre-Charles Eideldinger introduced Zeno watches in 1922 as the company worked on fine-tuning and innovating new watch manufacturing techniques. By 1949, Zeno timepieces were exhibited at the Swiss Watch Fair in Basel. The brand changed hands twice by 1973, ending in the hands of watchmaker Felix W Huber and has remained an independent owned brand since then.

During the late 1960’s and early 1970’s Zeno revisited its military origins, offering aviator and diving timepieces for civilians, featuring the technical specifics and features from it classic models. These military inspired watches have catapulted the brand to the acclaim and high regard it holds today.

Zeno timepieces now symbolize premium Swiss watchmaking and precision at its finest. Many of the timepieces in the brand’s collection have been awarded official COSC chronometer certification.

It also doesn’t hurt that prominent film and sports stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Uma Thurman, Cameron Diaz, Tiger Woods, Cristiano Ronaldo, Jeff Gordon and Maria Sharapova serve as international ambassadors for the brand.

Reinterpreting existing popular watch collections is another aspect of the brand’s long-time popularity. Three of TAG Heuer’s most popular watch series today: the Aquaracer, Link Series and Formula One are reimagined versions of earlier series.

Meanwhile in 2000 TAG Heuer introduced the new Formula 1 Series with larger oversized stainless steel cases and titanium bezels, replacing the fiberglass material used on the classic models which originally debuted in 1987.

You’ll find many  popular TAG Heuer timepieces at luxury retailer The Watchery during their week-long TAG Heuer Back In Stock event including the Aquaracer automatic men’s watch.
