You may not be aware, but many watches originate from the same source. Certain brands lease out the manufacturing and distribution of their watches to companies specifically set up to manufacture watch parts in-house. One such super watchmaker is the Movado group.
Movado was founded in 1881 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by Achilles Ditesheim. The company was purchased by arts enthusiast Gedalio Grinberg of New York in 1983; his son, Efraim Grinberg, is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Movado Group. The name Movado is Esperanto for “always in motion.” And like Esperanto, a language designed to be universal, the Movado group designs, manufactures, and distributes many luxury watches, including the brand name watches of Ebel, Concord, ESQ by Movado, Coach, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Juicy Couture and Tommy Hilfiger.
In fact, we have a great sale running on many Ebel and Concord watches, like this men’s Saratoga watch with silver dial, quartz movement, white diamond bezel, and stainless steel strap. If you’re looking for a majestic, authoritative timepiece in men’s watches, you cannot do much better than this, now on sale for 59% off!
